New and Noteworthy: Bethan Gray’s New Shamsian Range
Acclaimed Welsh designer Bethan Gray has released a new range that features the work of Iranian artist Mohamad Reza Shamsian.
The pieces showcase his skilled technique of ‘inlaying and overlaying solid brass and paua shell onto solid wood and maple veneer’. When combined with Bethan Gray’s elegant design, the result is furniture that could easily be mistaken for art. The pieces have a subtle aesthetic, oozing contemporary luxury in an understated way.
