Recreate this year's Love Island Villa in your home
Top 7 Love Island Villa Buys
Now that the World Cup and Wimbledon are over, all we have left to pass the summer evenings is Love Island.
In our last Love Island post we took a peek inside Caroline Flack’s home; this time we decided to tackle the infamous villa itself.
We’ve put together a guide on how you can get the villa look in your home – some of the items are exact matches!
Flamingo Wine Glasses
These glasses are an exact match to the ones they have in the villa. The Marks and Spencer range isn’t limited to just wine glasses though; the embossed flamingos can also be found on a jug and tumbler.
All of the pieces are plastic, making them perfect for picnics or garden parties. You’ll have to get in quick though as they tend to sell out as quickly as they come in stock.
Hanging Garden Lights
Garden lights are the perfect way to create a wonderful al fresco dining experience. Trail them along your fence or through a pergola to create an intimate atmosphere.
These festoon lights are a great match for the ones in the villa; they’re also solar powered so no need to have all of the lights clustered near a doorway.
How else would you be able to lounge around the pool all day complaining about feeling mugged off? We have it on good authority that these beanbags are the exact ones the islanders spend most of their afternoons on.
Bright Coloured Accessories
We can all agree that neutral tones won’t be found anywhere in the villa. All of the home accessories are bright blue, pink and orange (specifically an orange Buddha by the staircase).
We’ve found some cushions and covers on H & M that start from as little as £3.99, meaning you can inject a little bit of villa glam into your home without breaking the bank.
The Fire Pit
We all know the importance of the fire pit; it’s where Caroline Flack oversees the re-coupling process and is the site of just a few dramas – we don’t think we’ll ever recover from Josh picking Kazimir over Georgia. Live out less dramatic evenings curled up in front of this Homebase fire pit.
If we haven’t already learnt from the wine glasses, flamingos are a must-have in any Love Island-inspired home; there’s even one carved out of the grass wall in the bedroom! We thought this might be too much of a design risk for you, so instead we’ve found some great flamingo alternatives fit for any islander home.
Much in the same way the home furnishings and accessories are bold turquoise and pink, so are the walls. The bedroom walls have a mural featuring a swimming pool with brightly coloured inflatables floating on top.
