The Rise of Interior Design Schools

With more and more individuals desiring a career in interior design we’re finding an abundance of interior design courses popping up across the country.

We wanted to find out more, so we got in touch with Juliette Thomas of internationally renowned Juliettes Interiors, to find out about her latest Interior Design School offering.

First launched in March 2019, Juliette’s ‘Interior Design School’ takes place in her wonderfully creative and spacious showroom in Chelsea. Based just a short walk from the Design Centre in London’s cosmopolitan city, the design school is well positioned for students in need of some inspiration.

The syllabus, created for complete beginners, consists of just five students, for an intimate and hands-on learning environment, which offers you valuable one-to-one time with Juliette and her award-winning design team. With all materials included in the cost, Juliette covers topics including; colours, fabrics and finishes, mood boards, soft furnishings, scale drawing and lighting schemes as well as business topics consisting of costing schedules, project management and logistics. On completion of the five-day intensive course you will leave with your finished designs and the essential foundation and skills needed for considering a professional career in Interior Design.
